Dam Fine Ship    7 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
The Zuiderdam carries on the long standing Holland America tradition of elegant cruise liners. But this one is for a much younger clientele.
Pros:  Beautiful ship, elegant decor, coffee
Cons:  Room service, main dining room, entertainment

 Zuiderdam 2006    7 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
An ugly ship that is not up to typical Holland America standards for food and service.
Pros:  Nice itinerary, great private island
Cons:  Gaudy decor, ran out of some foods

 Out of Touch    7 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
Embarking was easy and quick with no complicated procedures. The ships staff was very helpful upon the initial checkin process. This was my 14th cruise but my first cruise with Holland America.
Pros:  Excellent check in, quick and uncomplicated
Cons:  Not much value in return for the cost
